Iran has presented a ten-point plan for negotiations with the US to end the war. The plan includes Iran's commitment not to manufacture nuclear weapons, the lifting of all sanctions, and the creation of a fund to compensate for damages. Negotiations will take place in Islamabad, Pakistan, and will be based on a plan presented by Tehran. The plan includes many of Iran's pre-war demands, which were made before the war launched 40 days ago by the US and Israel. The plan includes the cessation of any aggression against Iran and allied resistance groups, as well as extending the principle of non-aggression to all actors who have aggressed against resistance groups. It also calls for the withdrawal of all US combat forces from the region, a ban on any attacks from bases against Iran, and a commitment not to undertake any offensive military deployments. Iran demands the termination of all resolutions of the IAEA Board of Governors and the UN Security Council, and the approval of all commitments in an official UN resolution. Tehran also demands US recognition of Iran's right to uranium enrichment and negotiation on the level of enrichment. The plan also provides for a limited daily transit of ships through the Strait of Hormuz for two weeks, under a safe passage protocol supervised and regulated by Iran.
