The President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, confirmed yesterday that Iran is not seeking war.
Raisi stated: "We do not want war, but we will not stand by with our hands tied in the face of threats. We will defend our country and our interests."
This statement was made in the context of rising tensions in the region, particularly after the attack on a tanker in the Gulf of Oman, for which the West blames Iran.
