Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Mohammad Eslami on Thursday rejected any restrictions on uranium enrichment, as demanded by the US and Israel. He stated Iran will continue developing its nuclear program according to its own interests. Eslami emphasized that uranium enrichment is Iran's sovereign right and not open to discussion.

Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Mohammad Eslami on Thursday rejected any restrictions on uranium enrichment, as demanded by the United States and Israel. According to him, Iran will continue to develop its nuclear program in line with its own interests. Eslami emphasized that uranium enrichment is Iran's sovereign right and is not open to discussion. He also added that Iran is ready for dialogue, but only on the basis of mutual respect and without preconditions. Earlier, the US and Israel had repeatedly expressed concern over Iran's nuclear program and called for sanctions to be tightened.
