Iranian official media reported on Friday that the spokesperson of the IRGC, Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naaini, was killed in Israeli strikes. The Iranian Radio and Television Broadcasting (IRIB) reported that Naaini was killed on Friday, according to official reports. The news agency 'Tasnim' also reported that Naaini, who has served as the IRGC's spokesperson since 2024, was 'killed'. In turn, Israeli broadcasting stated that Israel carried out the operation to assassinate the IRGC spokesperson.
