The Strait of Hormuz is closed, and a warning has been issued against oil tankers crossing it, threatening a decisive response. An advisor to the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran announced that strict measures will be taken against any oil transfer operation and issued a warning to neighboring countries. Brigadier General Ebrahim Yabari, an advisor to the IRGC Commander-in-Chief, highlighted recent events in the region, announcing the closure of the strategic strait and confirming that the price of oil has reached 81 dollars, at a time when the world expects a new increase, knowing that about 20 million barrels of oil are transported daily through this passage. He clarified that any movement of tankers would be responded to by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic, and emphasized that the Navy and the IRGC Army would act firmly against any violating vessel and would not allow oil exports from the region. Iranian Navy soldiers patrol in a fast boat in the Persian Gulf, near the Strait of Hormuz, around the Iranian oil products tanker ABBA. He further stated that this historical moment will mark the stance of the countries that supported the Iranian people and those that aligned with global arrogance. Referring to an attack on a girls' school that killed more than 160 students and several teachers, Yabari described the incident as a clear crime and highlighted that these events will be documented in history and that the Islamic Republic will not leave them unanswered. To conclude, Yabari highlighted that the Iranian armed forces are fully prepared to overcome this difficult phase and that countermeasures will continue. The United States and the Israeli regime launched a joint aggression against Iran on Saturday, affecting several Iranian cities and Tehran, the capital. In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have attacked Israeli targets in the occupied territories and US bases throughout the region. He added that oil pipelines are also within the scope of targets and that it would not be allowed for the region's energy resources to fall into the hands of the enemy. Yabari added that the United States, despite its estimated trillions of dollars in debt, depends on the region's oil, but reiterated that not a single drop of oil will reach there. The IRGC Commander-in-Chief's advisor also issued a warning to neighboring countries, stating that the Islamic Republic had supported some of them in difficult times and provided them with assistance. He added that they are now expected to remain alert and refrain from helping the enemy.
