Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, warned on Friday that any US intervention in the protests taking place in the country would lead to 'destabilization' of the region. According to him, such actions would have serious consequences for regional stability. Larijani emphasized that Iran considers any interference a threat to its sovereignty. He also noted that the country's authorities are capable of handling internal issues independently.
