A ceasefire between Iran and Israel came into effect on June 24.
On June 22, U.S. forces attacked Iran's nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan.
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that its intelligence identified and dismantled a network "hostile to security," allegedly led by U.S. and Israeli intelligence services.
According to an IRGC statement published in its official news agency, Sepah News, the network, composed of "deceived individuals and traitors to the homeland," was created by Israel following the twelve-day conflict with Iran in mid-June. The network's goal was to destabilize Iran's national security between November 6 and December 21.
The statement said that network members were arrested in coordinated operations in several Iranian provinces, without specifying the dates of the operations or the identities of those detained.
IRGC intelligence considers Israel to be "the ally of the United States" in the Middle East and has accused it of redirecting its strategy towards destabilizing Iran's public security after its "military failure" in the twelve-day conflict.
On June 13, Israel launched major surprise airstrikes against several areas of Iran, including nuclear and military sites, resulting in the deaths of high-ranking commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians, according to Iranian officials.
Iran responded with waves of missile and drone attacks against Israel.
