According to reports, a fourth round of nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States may soon take place. This was announced by Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Saeed Khatibzadeh. Three rounds of negotiations were previously held in Vienna within the framework of the existing nuclear agreement, starting in April of this year.
During the previous rounds between the third and fourth rounds of the negotiations, Saeed Khatibzadeh emphasized the importance of progress in negotiations for both sides. According to him, Iran intends to continue taking a constructive part in the negotiations, but despite this, the question of the timeframe for holding the fourth round has not yet been resolved.
Iran and the U.S. resumed negotiations on the nuclear agreement after former U.S. President Donald Trump withdrew from it in 2018 and imposed sanctions against Iran. The current U.S. administration has expressed readiness to return to the implementation of the nuclear agreement if Iran also fulfills its obligations.
Representatives of all parties involved in the negotiations have expressed hope for productive cooperation in the framework of holding the fourth round of negotiations.
