In Iran, two individuals have been arrested, one of whom is a cleric, in connection with an explosion at the country's largest trading port. According to information provided by human rights representatives, both detainees are related to the incident that occurred at the Shahid Bahonar port in Khouzestan province in the southwest of the country.

While the identities of the detainees have not been disclosed, according to information received from the press service of the ministry, the cleric was arrested for concealment and providing assistance to one of the main suspects in the explosion. Human rights representatives are conducting an investigation to establish the guilty parties, including likely not only the perpetrators but also the instigators of the incident.

"Currently, both figures are under investigation in the case regarding the explosion at the port. We are actively working to uncover all circumstances of this incident," - is stated in the announcement from human rights organizations in Iran.
