On Tuesday, official Iranian media reported the statement of President Masoud Bazargani, in which he announced that Teheran would not participate in negotiations with the United States under pressure. This statement came in light of the deterioration of relations between the two countries after the US confirmed a new sanctions package against Iran.

"Bazargani stated at the weekly meeting of his government that we must restore the ability to negotiate away from emotions," - quoted from the statement, the importance of which was highlighted by Iranian media. In addition, the president emphasized that Iran will not retreat from its position regarding American sanctions.
