Tehran, April 3 (NA) — The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, mocked the United States on Friday after his country shot down an American F-15E fighter jet in southwestern Iran. “This brilliant, yet strategy-less war that they started has now been downgraded from ‘regime change’ to ‘Hey! Can anyone find our pilots?’,” he wrote on his X account, as reported by Argentina’s News Agency, citing the U.S. network CBS News. U.S. officials confirmed to CBS News that Iranian forces shot down the F-15E on Friday. “Real geniuses,” Ghalibaf added. One crew member was rescued by U.S. forces, while a search mission is underway to find the other crew member. Reiterating his mockery, Ghalibaf wrote: “What incredible progress!”
