In a recent message, he stated: “An entire civilization will die tonight… I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will.” In response, the Iranian government, through its ambassador to the UN, described these statements as “deeply irresponsible” and “alarming,” warning that they increase the risk of a major confrontation. According to the notice, this practice is strictly prohibited and may result in sanctions such as fines, detention, or even deportation.
