Iran Warns Trump of 'Living Hell' Over Attack Threats

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf warned Donald Trump that his “reckless” actions are dragging the U.S. into a “living hell.” This statement came after Trump threatened to attack Iranian infrastructure if the Strait of Hormuz is not opened. Iran called on the UN to intervene, stating that U.S. actions threaten civilians.

Iran warned U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday that his “reckless” moves are dragging the United States into a “living hell,” alluding to the Republican’s threat to attack power plants and bridges in the country starting Tuesday, April 7, if the Strait of Hormuz is not opened. “Your reckless moves are dragging the United States into a living hell for every family, and our entire region will burn because you insist on following the orders of (Israeli Prime Minister) Benjamin Netanyahu,” said Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf on X. Qalibaf was blunt in telling Trump that he will get nothing “through war crimes” and emphasized that “the only real solution is to respect the rights of the Iranian people and end this dangerous game.” His warnings came hours after Trump again threatened to unleash “hell” on Iran if his demands are not met by Tuesday, when the ultimatum set by Washington for the unblocking of the strategic Strait of Hormuz expires. “Open the fucking Strait, you crazy bastards, or you will live in hell. YOU’LL SEE!” the president wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social, while threatening the promised attacks on Iran’s electrical infrastructure if no deal is reached by then. The president had extended the deadline a few days ago to 8:00 p.m. Washington time on Saturday, April 6, for Iran to unblock the Strait of Hormuz. The closure of the Strait of Hormuz, through which a fifth of the world’s oil passes, has been one of the most destabilizing consequences of the war in the Middle East, which began on February 28 after the U.S. and Israel bombed Iran. Iran calls for UN intervention, ‘before it’s too late’ Iran’s mission to the UN called on the body to act “now” on Sunday after U.S. President Donald Trump insisted on his threat to “unleash hell” on the Islamic republic if it does not reopen the Strait of Hormuz by Tuesday. “Once again, the President of the United States is openly threatening to destroy essential infrastructure for the survival of the civilian population in Iran,” the mission said on social media X. Iran’s representatives at the UN reacted to a message posted by the president on Sunday in which he pointed to attacks on power plants and bridges. “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day and Bridge Day, all in one, in Iran. Open the fucking Strait, you crazy bastards, or you will live in hell,” Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social. “If the conscience of the United Nations were alive, it would not remain silent in the face of the open and brazen threat of the warmongering U.S. president to attack civilian infrastructure. Trump is trying to drag the region into an endless war,” Iran stated. THERE WILL BE NOTHING LIKE IT!!!
