Buenos Aires, April 3 (NA) — The Iranian Army called on Middle Eastern countries hosting U.S. bases to force Washington to leave the region and thus avoid suffering damage from attacks on their territories, according to international media. The Central Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, the central entity in the chain of command of the Iranian Armed Forces, warned that the Persian country will not leave unanswered 'the repeated threats' from U.S. President Donald Trump against its energy infrastructure, power plants, and bridges.
'If these threats are carried out, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in addition to attacking all assets of the Zionist regime and the United States in the areas of fuel, energy, economic centers, and regional power plants,' it warned.
Continuing, according to the Actualidad RT site consulted by the Argentine News Agency, it described that 'even more important and extensive sectors of their capital and that of the host and allied countries' will be attacked 'with greater severity and force'.
The organization's spokesperson concluded: 'The countries that host U.S. military bases in the region, if they wish to avoid suffering damage, must force the Americans to leave their territory'.
