Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated on Saturday that a war with the United States would not be in the interest of either party or the Middle East region. This comes amid threats from US President Donald Trump to launch a military strike against the Islamic Republic. Pezeshkian, who spoke by phone with his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, said that 'the Islamic Republic of Iran will never seek war, under any circumstances, and is deeply convinced that war is not in the interest of Iran, the United States, or the region'.
