Beijing - AFP Two container ships belonging to the Chinese shipping giant COSCO have passed through the Strait of Hormuz while leaving the Gulf, according to ship-tracking data on Tuesday. Shipping through the strait has slowed in recent weeks after Iran nearly completely closed the vital waterway following U.S.-Israeli attacks on the country. The two vessels passed near Larak Island on their way to Port Klang in Malaysia. According to Marine Traffic ship-tracking service, the CSCL Indian Ocean passed the strait on Monday at 9:14 GMT, followed by the CSCL Arctic Ocean 27 minutes later.
