Tehran, AFP — Iranian judicial authorities announced on Monday that they will seize the assets of Iranians abroad who cooperate with Israel and the United States and impose sanctions on them. The Mizan Online website, affiliated with the judiciary, reported, citing the Attorney General's Office: "Iranians abroad who side with the American-Israeli enemy, accompany it, and cooperate with it will face the confiscation of all their assets and other legal penalties under the law." The site noted that a law to this effect was passed after the 12-day war that erupted last June with Israel, in which the United States participated limitedly by striking Iranian nuclear facilities.
