The Israeli Army announced it bombed the underground bunker of former Iranian leader Ali Khamenei in Tehran. According to the Israeli military, this bunker, located under the Iranian regime's complex in central Tehran, was considered «impregnable». It was intended to be used by Khamenei as a secure emergency command center. Israel killed Khamenei during the air strikes launched on February 28, along with the United States, marking the beginning of a war that has spread across the region and is approaching its first week. On Friday, March 6, the Israeli Army stated that its air force bombed «in the heart of Tehran» the underground military bunker of former Iranian leader Ali Khamenei. «The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) dismantled the underground military bunker of Ali Khamenei, located under the complex of the terrorist Iranian regime,» a military communiqué reads. The Israeli Army also details that around 50 combat aircraft participated in the operation, guided by «precise intelligence» with more than 100 munitions to attack Khamenei's bunker in the capital. «The tunnel extends for several blocks under the civilian population and contained numerous access points,» the note says. Despite these heavy attacks against the regime, Iran continued throughout the morning of this Friday to launch salvos of ballistic missiles against Israel, causing the sound of air raid alarms in cities like Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, as well as explosions due to interceptions in the sky. However, there have been no reports of personal injuries, only material damage, mainly from shrapnel falling after missile interceptions.
