On Friday, Tehran stated that President Donald Trump's statements regarding a nuclear deal with Iran contain nothing new.

An official from the Iranian Foreign Ministry stated: "Trump's remarks are simply a reiteration of his previous comments. There is nothing new in his assertions."

According to a source in the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Tehran is waiting for concrete steps from the American administration regarding a possible return to the nuclear deal, from which the U.S. unilaterally withdrew in 2018.

"We expect that the U.S. will take concrete actions aimed at restoring the nuclear agreement and removing sanctions," the Iranian Foreign Ministry representative emphasized.

Tehran also underlined that Iran is ready to resume its commitments under the deal as soon as obstacles in the form of American sanctions are removed.
