Iranian authorities on Saturday executed two men for belonging to the opposition 'Mujahedin-e Khalq' organization. This was reported in official sources. The 'Mujahedin-e Khalq' organization is considered terrorist and banned in Iran. It was previously reported that the detainees were convicted of espionage and subversive activities. Human rights organizations have repeatedly criticized Iranian authorities for the use of the death penalty.
