Iranian Opposition Leader Calls for US Military Intervention

Iranian opposition leader Reza Pahlavi stated on Saturday that US military intervention in his country could save lives. He urged the Trump administration not to prolong negotiations with Iranian officials over the nuclear deal. He made these comments on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, which is banned for Iranian government officials. Pehlevi, who resides in the United States, said: "It is a matter of time." He added that there are indications that the Iranian government is on the verge of collapse, and that an attack could weaken it or accelerate its fall. Meanwhile, around eighty thousand people protested against the Iranian authorities in Munich. We hope that this will accelerate [the process].
