British maritime security company 'Vanguard Tech' reported on Tuesday that Iranian warships approached an American oil tanker and ordered it to stop while crossing the Strait of Hormuz in the Gulf region, but it continued sailing in the company of an American warship. An American official confirmed to Reuters on Tuesday that the military shot down an Iranian drone after it approached the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln in the Middle East. The Iranian drone was of the Shahed-139 model and was flying towards the aircraft carrier, which was shot down by an American F-15 fighter jet. The company clarified that six Iranian warships approached the oil tanker Stena Imperative, which sails under the American flag.
