An official from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Tehran announced that the minimum age for participating in support roles related to the war has been lowered to 12 years. This decision comes as a result of a growing number of young people volunteering for service. The official, Rahim Nad Ali, a cultural functionary in the IRGC, stated that the initiative, named 'For Iran', has begun recruiting participants to assist in activities including patrols, checkpoints, and logistical missions. Nad Ali explained that the age of applicants has decreased noticeably, prompting the organizing bodies to set the minimum age at 12. He added that individuals aged 12 and 13 can join if they wish.
