According to Iran's Ministry of Education, more than 170 students from this school died as a result of US and Israeli attacks last Saturday. A statement from Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reads: 'Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, referring to the recent killings of children, particularly the 171 girls at the Minab primary school, as well as attacks on Iranian hospitals, stated that the international community has a responsibility to condemn the military aggression of Israel and the United States against Iran.' As a result of the US-Israeli attack, at least 555 people were killed, including civilians, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and several high-ranking military officials, as well as the religious leader's family. Last Saturday, when the Argentine News Agency reported the attack on the school, Colombian President Gustavo Petro echoed the information and joined the criticism of the attackers.
