Russia built the existing Bushehr nuclear power plant and is constructing additional units there, but suspended operations after the outbreak of the current war at the end of last month. Russia's RIA News agency reported that Rosatom announced the evacuation of another 163 workers from the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran on Wednesday. The agency, citing Alexey Likhachev, noted that 300 company employees remain in Bushehr and indicated plans to evacuate more of them.
